Seam and Batten Tape

Using a strong, reliable liner tape is important to assuring that stability of your pond liner. We carry an assortment of tapes to suit your needs.

The Firestone QuickSeam Splice Tape is designed to seam two sheets of PondGard EPDM liner. The Splice Tape is a 3" wide double-sided adhesive tape. The release paper covers one side of the QuickSeam Tape for ease of application. Use the Firestone QuickScrubber Pad and Holder to prepare liner membranes for seaming with the QuickSeam Splice Tape. One roll of QuickSeam Splice Tape is enough to seam 100 linear feet of liner.

Firestone Lap Sealant

Firestone Lap Sealant is specifically designed edge treatment used to ensure a watertight seal while seaming two PondGard EPDM liners. This adhesive caulk serves as a final precaution against leaks and is applied to the outer edge of a seam. Firestone Lap Sealant applies easily using a caulk gun. Made in the USA.

Quick Prime

QuickPrime is used to clean and prepare liner surfaces for proper adhesion of splicing or patching tape.
Preparation of Splicing Surfaces:
Splice Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of foreign materials and excess dusting agent. Clean with broom or rags to remove contaminates.

Method of Application:
Apply QuickPrime Plus LVOC at the rate of 200-250 square feet per gallon per side to the splicing surfaces.

Note: Use of neoprene or nitrile gloves and eye protection with side shields is required during application.

Warning! This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Ingredients: Benzene, 1 Chloro-4-(Trifluoromethly) Toluene.
